I am a retired orthopedic surgeon. I have collected abstract art for 30 years. Although I had no art background I began painting 5 years ago. Abstract art is seen with the mind and the soul rather than the eyes. I begin my paintings without a plan. As I begin to put shales and colors on the canvas, I let the canvas show me the way. If you are willing the canvas will lead you to the conclusion of the painting. This trust allows for infinite possibilities in form and color without predetermined restrictions.
