Stunning Makeup Artist Christa Rice
My name is Christa Rice or @christaricemakeup on all of my socials. I have been into makeup for as long as I can remember! When I was about 5 years old my mother sold Avon and I was fascinated with those mini lipsticks. I used to sneak them from her and try on all the different shades. Pretty much since then, I’ve been hooked. When I was a teenager I suffered from depression and addiction. Makeup was a way for me to escape. I would sit in my room and play with makeup for hours. It was a nice distraction for me and a great creative outlet. I attended college and graduated with a degree in Graphic Design. I was really into painting, photography and drawing in my 20’s. It wasn’t until my early 30’s that I really got serious about posting my makeup looks and created my social accounts. I post a combination of regular makeup, illusion creative type looks, lipart, nail art and beauty reviews. I first just started posting my looks for fun but soon it turned into so much more than that! After working really hard on creating looks and building my Socials about a year later I ended up collaborating with an indie makeup brand and created an Eyeshadow Palette. This was such a dream come true and was my goal when I first started my Instagram page. I currently have collaborated with multiple brands and now have 3 different eyeshadow palettes out that I helped design and curated the color story’s for. I have really learned that this is my passion and I hope to start my own makeup brand someday! Aside from the work, I do on my social media I also currently work as a freelance makeup artist. I recently just got an amazing opportunity working with a prestigious makeup artist. I have been working on a job doing background makeup for an HBO TV series that will be airing next year. This has been an amazing year for my makeup career and I’m so thankful for all of the opportunities I’ve had. I can’t wait to see what the future holds!
If you would like to check out more of my work and give me a follow @christaricemakeup I would really appreciate the support so much.
