Creating a fantasy world of dogs and cats is my passion and fun

My name is Elaine Lin. I love and enjoy using black ink pen to draw fine details on paper. A fantasy world of bulldogs, cats, and other animals is my creative subject. A black-and-white illustration with intensive dots and lines is my style. You will see these elements in many of my artworks here.

I grew up and completed my education in Taiwan. After graduating and receiving my Master’s degree, my family and I moved to San Francisco Bay Area, where I started my career as an illustrator.

Create illustrations for children's books

I create TV commercial storyboards, calendar illustrations, product concept arts for advertising agencies with clients such as Southwest Airlines, Wells Fargo Bank, and Cathay Pacific Airways. I also design characters and create illustrations for children’s books. I used to work on illustration assignments for GQ magazine in Taiwan.

Today, even I’m still taking commission works for advertising agencies and publishers from time to time, I mostly spend time on creating my own artworks. Thank you for visiting my page here, and I hope you will enjoy my creations. ~ Elaine Lin
