Australian based photographer and Digital artist Jane Long

I am an Australian-based photographer and digital artist who combines photography and photo manipulation to create slightly surreal images that straddle the line between reality and fantasy.

Completely self-taught, I have worked with Photoshop since 1994. This led to a love of photography, with digital art remaining an integral part of my work.

My series “Dancing with Costică” brought international exposure, and featured on over 150 photography and news websites including ABC News US, Daily Mail, SLR Lounge and BuzzFeed as well as photography magazines. From this, I was selected as a core artist at the Ballarat International Foto Biennale in 2015.
Interest in my work continued with Decca Records artist Aurora commissioning me for the artwork for her debut album as well as other record and film poster works.

I have exhibited internationally and been a finalist in major art prizes including The Moran Prize and The Olive Cotton Award and was a finalist in the 2021 Art Lovers Prize. ~ @jane_long_art
