Edyta: Portrait Drawings with Pencil

My name is Edyta and I have lived in the UK since 2003 although I originate from Poland.
On the 20th of April 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, I made the most amazing discovery “I can sketch”. Sitting with my daughter I drew a cat, my curiosity grew and grew. I shared my sketches on an app called Sketch a Day’. The app encouraged me to post daily and I could see my progress and felt such satisfaction and joy when I started to produce portraits. Prior to April 2020, I had never owned a professional pencil as I never even knew I could sketch. This had really taken me by surprise, it’s a total mystery to me… I am totally mesmerised by the amazing support and positive comments I receive on my Facebook Group Edyta.Ince.Portraits.
