Ukrainian Paper Artist Eugenia Zoloto

My name is Eugenia Zoloto and I am a paper artist. I create big paper dresses and small volumed paper collages, adore different forms of paper art and cut for about 9 years.

I live in Kyiv, Ukraine, so for the last 100 days I couldn’t get a lot into art, but I tried, when it became more safe in the capital I started to cut again. It was so hard emotionally to reflect on the horrible stories of war, so I drew and cut more positive art to show people there is always a hope, and only kindness and love will save us.

Lots of people all around the world write to me and ask if I am safe, support and propose to help. That saved me the first days of war and warmed me now. I hope my art also helps someone to feel more comfortable, to get distracted from this horrible war. ~ @eugenia_zoloto
