Lapa Studios is a paper art company based in Los Angeles. By fusing our love for digital design with our passion for paper craft, we are able to create blueprints for masks and sculptures that can easily be built at home.
The Masks:
Everything started with a polygonal wolf head that was transformed into a mask and from there the possibilities were endless. The designs are created digitally and assembled out of cardstock. All of our paper craft projects are instructions and patterns designed to be downloaded instantly and crafted by our customers.
The masks are great for Halloween, Cosplay and parties or anytime you just want to get into another head!
Kumo Lamps:
We have designed “Kumo” a printable paper shade pattern to unleash your inner interior designer and create a super modern geometric LAPA Lamp using basic craft supplies! In just a few hours, you’ll be able to upgrade your old lighting into sleek and modern geo lamps!
The lamp shades are based on low poly geometries similar to our popular animal and character mask kits!
The instructions and pattern pieces are instantly downloadable and can be printed on US letter or A4 paper. To make a LAPA lamp you’ll need a light fixture plus card stock or thick paper and some other supplies you probably have at home or can order online from a craft store. ~ lapastudios.com
