Transforming into my own unique characters manipulating the facial structure
Makeup and face paint is my creative passion! I find pleasure in transforming into my own unique character’s manipulating the facial structure and playing with bright colours, shapes and different textures as well as pulling off small detailed creative eye looks on myself with a hand mirror, I’m constantly learning as I am self taught from Folkestone Kent and I use my Instagram account as a platform to share and be inspired since September 2018.
I enter makeup competitions to get my work notice as well as for the pure excitement I was so please to be picked by Warner Brothers Studios on Instagram last Halloween for their witches movie recreation because as a self taugh artist being notice by a massive professional company like that felt incredible plus it was my first time using a bald cap on my self and getting to grips with the tricky texture of face and scar wax to create facial textures was a challenge in its self! so when the professional team noticed my work out of 1000s of other artist really is something that pushes me to do more and try harder to perfect my work.
Also love from my favourite makeup/face paint company’s getting shared on some of their feeds and meeting amazing makeup artist friends online in makeup groups with artists from all over the world that look out for each other and we can share all the good and bad experiences with one another helps me an enormous amount.
I’m excited to be able to work on clients again soon I do miss the chats and smiles and sometimes happy tears when clients see their self in the mirror after giving them a makeup transformation is one of the main reason I love doing what I do.
I’m now looking into making tutorials and step by steps on how I create each look this year which is keeping me busy during lockdown. I would definitely recommend everyone to take more bold risks when it comes to makeup wear that bright lipstick that’s been hidden in your makeup stash pack on that eye shadow don’t be shy makeup is for all ages watch some YouTube videos or come find me on Instagram and up your makeup game you might find a new creative passion!.
