Fred Bugs: Italian Abstract Cartoonist Artist Federico Cabras

Fred Bugs, pseudonym of Federico Cabras is an Italian abstract cartoonist and artist who became popular after participating in the Venice International Exhibition in 2021.

His way of drawing the combination of lighter colors with darker colors is inspired by the surrealism of Joan Miró and the abstract figures of Jean Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring.

The artist, born in Bosa in 1997 and trained in a small town in Sardinia, has always recognized art as the main form of expression, both written and visual, showing it through abstract shapes and figures accompanied by quotes and phrases in English.

In each of his works, the artist gives space to the inner aspect of his figures by showcasing their character through expressiveness, and his works are part of various private art collections in Europe and all over the world.

Since 2021, the artist has been touring museums and major European neighborhoods, participating in various projects concerning abstract art on paper, cardboard and in the form of stickers. ~ @fbartist1
