Meet Elfee: Transforming Nature’s Beauty into Tattoos that Flow with the Body

I’m Elfee, a Montreal-based tattoo artist specializing in abstract, nature-inspired tattoos that flow with the body’s naturally shaped contours. My journey began with painting at the age of 10, and selling work to galleries prior to moving to tattooing, which led me to the people around me and enabled my work to be a live, lifelike part of their story.

My signature styles are deeply rooted in nature and an intuitive flow. Starting with the “pour paint” technique, which lets faith and movement dictate the pattern, to the texture of the bark, delicate lily pads, moving ocean waves, and expressive brushstrokes, every piece is created by hand and unique.

I’m inspired by the strength of nature. It’s the damaged pad of a lily that keeps growing, the tactile bond of tree bark, and the deep motion of ocean foam.

At the Wild Fairy Studio in Montreal, I design customized tattoos that can be adapted to the body of each client and their vision. I am awed when clients allow me a creative space, which allows us to collaborate in a truly unique way. Each tattoo is a dialogue between the artist and the skin, nature and canvas. ~ @elfeeart
