Oceans as a Way to Freedom
Fascination is a well-known feeling for humans. No other natural feature has sparked as much fascination as the Ocean, maybe because 95% of the ocean is completely unexplored, unseen by human eyes.
To me, water is a fluid substance associated with feelings, the subconscious and healing. Somehow, the animals I portray in my aquatic series are prophetic witnesses of the truth and messengers of the timeless. They offer an entrance to a world of freedom and a communion with the viewer, who can also experience that freedom from the ties that bind us here. By touching our deepest center, they can awaken the healing power of spirit.

In a world bereft of meaning and value, drifting in a sea of materialism and cynicism, I find it important to take a stand: there is a transcendental ground, and art should aim at revealing this higher truth. This is what I believe in. Through my artwork, it is my intention to remind us of our own higher possibilities and our deepest nature, connecting with the light within and with all sentient beings in a joyful celebration of brotherhood. This is my mission in life: spreading the light through my creations.
Through my paintings, I want the viewer to feel the beauty that surrounds us, trying to portray a vision of expanded awareness and the underlying sacredness of all that is. Art should be beautiful for the truths it reveals and not just for art’s sake. It is my aim to communicate with my art transrational luminous forms in order to introduce viewers to their own spiritual worlds.
