Self-taught artist Harkin Deximire and the art styles

Harkin Deximire is an artist, animator, and a novelist. She was born in Manila, Philippines on October 3, 1997 to both Filipino parents. She graduated in college under Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 2018.
She is currently working as an artist, specializing in cartoon illustration industry.
She published her two books with her own illustrated covers: The Unexpected Journey (2016) and Aeternum Dream (2018).

Harkin is a self-taught artist. Drawing is her passion since childhood when she got inspired by her sister’s works. At first, she began illustrating “stickman” and had her first character named “Bibae”.

As time goes by, she began creating her own characters and their backgrounds as well.
In the beginning, she started in traditional drawings then later on switched to digital.
She continues to learn art and tries new ideas and techniques to discover different art styles all by herself.

In addition, she also loves to write storyboards and make animations, especially inspirational Christian videos.

She uses her skills to express herself by her works and to give inspiration to everyone. ~ Harkin Deximire
