Fine Artist, Muralist, Fashion Art Designer, and Art Curator at Revolution A
Andrea Castañeda Castro, known as Revolution A, a Honduran visual artist whose work is primarily grounded in Magical Surrealism. I call it electric Art. My multidisciplinary practice includes large-scale murals, hand-painted wearable art, and studio-based work on canvas.
My paintings explore narratives of healing, resilience, and hope, conveying a strong sense of empowerment and transformation. Through symbolism, vibrant color, and visual storytelling, my work reflects an optimistic perspective that transforms inner struggle into strength and personal growth.
My artwork has been shown in Miami, New York, Orlando, Mexico, Central America, and Europe, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to cultural dialogue and contemporary expression. I have also completed public and private murals in Washington, D.C., Miami, Mexico, and Honduras. In parallel, my fashion design work has been presented in Miami, Melbourne, Florida, and Tampa, extending my artistic language beyond the canvas.
I am recognized for my immersive live painting performances, during which I create complete artworks within 25 to 35 minutes, accompanied by a dancer, Nina, and a DJ.
These performances integrate movement, music, and painting into a cohesive visual experience, transforming the creative process into a live and dynamic work of art.
In essence, my practice seeks to create windows into dreamlike worlds, where Honduran identity, nature, and fantasy coexist in harmony.
